How are the plaques made?
Magic! Or digital graphics are reproduced with photo-lab quality when dye sublimation inks are printed and pressed on a metal plate. The metal plate is then adhered to a wooden plaque.
How do the plaques react to sunlight?
Over extended periods of time, the plaques will have limited color-fastness when exposed to direct sunlight.
How durable is the plaque?
The image surface is scratch, soil and water resistant.
Are there any limitations as to what can be put on a plaque?
Not really. As long as you own or have written permission to use an image or logo, you can use it on your plaque!
Can I use my own art?
There are two ways that art can be used on your design:
Can I design my plaque using my own software and put it on a plaque?
Of course! Just make sure it is sized to 8” x 10”.
Can I stop in the middle of a design and come back to it later?
Yes! Always save your design. Once saved, you can come back as frequently as you would like.
Can I use other’s logos and/or trademarked designs?
Only if you have the permission of the owner.
May I use other’s quotations on my plaque?
Yes but please give credit to the writer whenever possible.
What if there is a word spelled wrong on my plaque?
Thank goodness for spell check! Once you save a plaque you can make any necessary changes including spelling. SendaPlaque.com will print all plaques as received, so double check before you submit your order.
How long will it take to receive my order?
All orders will ship within two working days. Please allow for UPS shipping time. Priority shipping is available.
